What about ye! (UPDATE off to a great start a big thank you to everybody that has sponsored me so far really appreciate it. I Just received €1,000 from Diageo Fantastic)
I hope like myself you’re only the finest, the 19th of July is big day for me. Its 12 months to the day since I left St Vincent’s hospital following surgery for Pancreatic cancer, it’s also my 53rd birthday. I’m incredibly lucky to be to celebrating both HAPPY DAYS. Words will never do justice to the way I feel about the medical profession here in Ireland, the most dedicated bunch of people I have ever or will ever meet (THANK YOU). My wife Rosie and my Daughters Lara, Evie, Jodie and Molly, I knew I had a great crew just didn’t realise how great. Family, friends, Ex Diageo Colleagues neighbours were all incredibly supportive and were there for us all, nothing was a problem. Again THANK YOU (even my sister Mary got 2 points or her licence dropping me to Hospital… above and beyond) Anyway enough of my ramblings.
The hair is coming off on the 19th July in Sherry’s Bar Clarinbridge I’m thinking of buying some Doc Martins and Parallel’s to go with the new skinhead look… perhaps a step to far! (Please join us if you can as Sally would say you never know who you might meet or the way she might look at you)
All support for my chosen Charity’s no matter how big or small will be greatly appreciated, again incredibly selfless people. Those of you that know me well will know that I have no problem over achieving against a target but hate missing it so PLF
Charity(s) I am supporting:
1. Cancer Care West
2. Cancer research
Please read a few words about the charity(s) that I have chosen to support below. You can donate using the "sponsor me now" button below via credit or debit card.
